This workshop will address structure, themes and the shape of the memoir, and other elements of revision as relevant to all stages of writing.

Your own writing will be prioritised as the central learning text, and honest feedback will be encouraged in a convivial and supportive environment. In addition to relevant examples of literary texts, we will include numerous writing exercises designed to integrate our explorations into your writing practice and to generate new writing and/or adjust current work.

Location: a private house tacked away in a lane, minutes from the lively precinct of Lygon Street, Carlton (Melbourne). Workshop times: Saturday, 9-5pm (optional stay for dinner and readings); Sunday, 9-4pm.

Accommodation option available.

This workshop is sold out.
